Q1. What type of guarantee comes with this equipment?

Answer:
All equipment comes with one years standard quarantee covering all breakdowns callouts and parts (excluding consumables like lights, door gaskets etc.). All callouts are attended at your premises Monday to Friday.

We are able to offer extended guarantees of up to 5 years subject to an additional premium.

Q2. Why are you cheaper than most of your competitors ?

Answer:
We are more competitive because our over heads are kept to a minimum. We don't provide catalogues or brochures, or salesmen, we don't maintain a large showroom and you order your goods over the internet with the minimum of fuss. The quality of the goods is exactly the same as you would purchase elsewhere.

Q3. What size ice machine will suit my business?

Answer:
There are two critical sizes to consider when purchasing an Ice Machine. The amount of ice it produces in 24 hours and the capacity of the storage bin. One Kilogram of ice is about 50 ice cubes. As a rough guide the storage bin is half the size of the production capacity.

Q4. Do we need to bring a professional builder to construct our coldroom?

Answer:
With two competent people you can easily construct a small integral coldroom in about 5 hours. Its easier than assembling a flat pack wardrobe.

Q5. If the door to my fridge or freezer is left open will the whole room get colder?

Answer:
A refrigerated unit is all about the transfer of heat from the evaporator (the cold bit) to the condenser (the warm bit). This requires energy and therefore to answer the question the room would get warmer.

Q6. I have just taken a large delivery into my refrigerated cabinet but there seems to be a problem as some items are not getting cold ?

Answer:
What people tend to forget is that for the cabinet to work properly you need to have a cold air flow around the goods. If you back an upright cabinet to the top you will restrict the air flow and the goods below will not get cold.

Q7. I need to get the goods colder quicker ? I have turned the thermostat down but this does not seem to be working and there is an ice build up on the evaporator.

Answer: The cabinets are all designed to hold good at certain temperatures. If you are placing warm bottles into a bottle fridge it may take 8 hours to get them all down to temperature. By turning the thermostat down you may be trying to achieve the impossible and you will get a build up of ice on the evaporator. This ice will act as insulator and the cabinet will eventually get warmer.
